Awards and student fellowships


Young Scientist Awards

Two "Young Scientist Awards" will be granted to an outstanding PhD student and a postdoc researcher.

The selected candidates will be able to attend the conference without paying the registration fee and will receive an honoring diploma. The award does not include travel or accommodation costs.

The selection of the Young Scientist Award winners will be made by the scientific committee on the basis of the candidate's contribution and achievements in their respective research field.

In order to qualify for this award, candidates must be PhD students or postdocs under 35 and they will need to submit a short CV (maximum 2 pages) in addition to their abstract before December 31st 2014.


Best oral communications

The selection of the best oral communications (three categories) will be made by the conference audience. Each conference attendant will be able to choose for:

1) Most stimulating/challenging talk
2) Best power point presentation
3) Most innovative topic of research


Best poster Awards

Three posters will be selected by the attendees during the conference. The posters will be chosen considering their original design and their ability to summarize scientific results in an easy, attractive and understandable way.

The recipients of both poster and oral communication awards will get a diploma commemorative of the specific prize and a token gift during the gala dinner.
